Our History

We've been around a while

Established in 1952, Warlimont and Nutt was pioneered by Clarence Brooks Warlimont (Clarie). On completion of his war service and together with his wife Millie they set up Kiosk Estate Agency; next to the old general store on the corner of Esplanade and Kilburn Grove, Mt Martha.

Mt Martha's popularity as a spectacular seaside resort was ever increasing and so in the 1960's Clarie moved his business to its current prime location at 30 Lochiel Avenue next to what was then Mt Martha Motors.
A second agent had opened five offices on the Peninsula; 'JP Knaggs Nutt & Co' and Richard Nutt one of the partners, teamed up with Clarie in the Mornington Peninsula Branch of the Real Estate and Stock Institute. They worked as a team in this association for several years.   In 1971, when Clarie and Millie decided to retire, Richard & Jennifer Nutt  bought the business.

Richard Nutt and Jennifer named their new company 'Warlimont & Nutt Pty Ltd'. Maintaining the family tradition, their son Fergus Nutt  joined the team in 1984 later becoming a Director and Shareholder. Richard has since retired.

Catherine Ongarello joined the sales team at Warlimont & Nutt in 1999 and later in 2006 became a Director and share holder.  Our philosophy embraces the highest ideals of real estate service and is based on the attitude and ethics of placing our clients' needs ahead of our own.
